Good News!

Picture
HIGHWAY 243 PULLOUTS between Banning and Idyllwild
Many are SNOW-PLOWED!

Some are huge!
They offer convenient parking and play!  Good clean fun!
Avoid the traffic, parking mess, and CHP ticketing and towing in Idyllwild!

Pine Cove, Idyllwild and Mountain Center Snow-Play Areas
These offer limited parking, restrooms, sometimes even showers, and space for snow-play!
Again, they don't compare to Big Bear areas.

Please note:
  • No public restrooms in Idyllwild.
  • The National forest is free, but access with parking is difficult to find.
  • Humber Park Trailhead is not a snow-play area. It is closed to traffic in ice/snow conditions.
  • Idyllwild, Fern Valley, and Pine Cove residential lots are not for snow-play.
